Worship Unplugged was conceptualized in August of 2009 by Dwight Astin, Antonio Hairston, & Michael McLymore. While sitting around on a Sunday afternoon, watching a singer from the UK, by the name of Adele, do an unplugged set. As we all sat and listened to Adele, I was like... we can do this. After throwing out a couple of different genres, Mike said, "What about worship?" Once Felicia Hairston, the show producer, got involved, as they can say... the rest is history.
